Jacarilla is a small town with just over 1,600 inhabitants set amongst orange trees in the beautiful Jacarilla countryside. Jacarilla takes it's name from Medieval songs of the knights in armour who fought against the Moorish empire. Celebrating it's main fiestas in September to commemorate "La Virgen del Belén", the patron of the town, when floral offerings and processions fill the town of Jacarilla with colour and sound in honour of the Virgen. With the new La Finca Golf course only a short distance away, Jacarilla is the ideal location for both permanent and holiday living.
